  A Federal Judge ruled in favor of certifying a class action against the nations two largest tobacco companies for selling light cigarettes when the companies internal research showed they knew the risks to be about the same for non light cigarettes.   Jack Landskroner in Cleveland had a good write-up about the spinach scare that is sweeping the nation. Hundreds of people have been stricken with the e-coli virus, at least 19 of them here in Ohio. The spinach has been traced to California, and restaurants and grocers have removed spinach from menus and shelves respectively.
